The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) is a technologically-advanced, purpose-built convention and exhibition facility strategically located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The Centre is comprised of 2 auditoria; Plenary Hall and Plenary Theatre (seating 3,000 and 500 respectively); a Grand Ballroom, Conference Halls, a Banquet Hall, 9,710 sqm of column-free exhibition space, 23 meeting rooms including TenOnCall, meeting venues for short lead time bookings. Currently, groundwork on the Centre’s expansion at the adjacent Lot 91 is officially underway. This bodes well for completion of the development by early 2018. Once operational, Lot 91 will provide an additional 10,000 sqm of flexible and multipurpose space to the Centre’s current 22,659 sqm. The Centre is also supported by 3G telecommunication, digital audio-visual facilities plus a culinary brigade of 51 chefs meeting the needs of all styles of events. Overlooking the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur City Centre Park, the Centre is a winner of numerous awards, including best convention and exhibition centre in Asia. The Centre has ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications, EarthCheck Bronze status (environment) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Certification (HACCP) recognition, the international food safety system for international convention facilities and five-star hotels. It is also the first in Asia to receive the “Gold” AIPC Quality Standards certification.
